Very fast grower, with great flavor and good bolt resistance. Grows fast enough for spring plantings to head up before the days get long enough to cause bolting (start early.) Very easy as a fall vegetable. Can be planted late, compared to many other fall crops--I have planted in late September in zone 8 and squeaked through with a good crop. A great winter salad green, or first-early spring crop. Our family loves Nappa cabbage for salad--mild, crunchy, and great for coleslaw--as well as in stir-fry, soups, and kim-chee. 50 days. 80 seeds
