Bees love the sheaves of deep blue flowers, and gardeners love the way the plant behaves in the garden. Easier from seed than any perennial herb I know, the plant is hardy to both heat and cold. One of the few herbs I could grow easily in Alaska, but at home here in California's 100-degree heat. The plants are bushy and neat, often used for low herbal hedges. Ingredient of herbal liqueurs like Benedictine and Absinthe. Tea used for the common cold, and other anti-viral uses. Great permaculture and landscape plant.
