Fragrant herb of many uses. This is Common Thyme, Thymus vulgaris, which has a low, creeping habit, pink flowers, and spicy flavor. One of the most useful herbs with meats and cheese dishes. My patch of Creeping Thyme spills over a stone wall (cinderblocks, actually, but the thyme hides them) and is alive with pollinators and beneficials all summer. (see the honeybee in the photo?)
