Wild Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum)
Fragrant herb of many uses. My patch of Creeping Thyme spills over a stone wall (cinderblocks, actually, but the thyme hides them) and is alive with pollinators and beneficials all summer. (see the honeybee in the photo?) One of the best honey plants. Used in teas and tinctures for asthma, cough, and chest problems, thyme is also showing up in research as an immune system booster.
