A very high-quality yellow storage onion: big, firm, long-keeping bulbs with excellent flavor.  This variety is another example of inspired traditional breeding by Alan Kapular of Peace Seeds. He started with a commercial European hybrid and reselected this as an open-pollinated variety under organic conditions over many years. Heavy yields of 8-12 ounce round yellow onions with tight copper skin that keep remarkably well. I have kept a box of these all winter in a coolish room and had them still firm and usable in May.
