The most heat-resistant romaine for summer. Bred in Israel, this lettuce is very resistant to tip-burn and handles heat really well. When I started in the seed world, this was a very rare item, and Bountiful Gardens was one of the few sources. Now it is a major variety for commercial growers as well as home gardeners....a real workhorse. Cool summer crunch. Starts off a bit slower than other lettuces, but catches up.
