This little green seems to have the power to elevate a salad into something really mouth-watering and satisfying. The flavor is perhaps best described as savory. Great in cooked dishes too--really livens up pastas and soups. The flowers are wonderful in salads, and attract bees and beneficial insects. Very cold-hardy but bolts quickly in summer heat; sow a few plants at a time, give them lots of water and good soil for fast growth and the most succulent salad leaves. For year-round production, I suggest using this annual arugula during the cool months, and Sylvetta during the heat of high summer. 300 seeds.
