We ship Tree Collards every Monday. If you order both seeds and Tree Collard cuttings, we will ship your order all together. If don't want your seeds held until the next Monday, please tell me in the NOTES field at checkout, or order them separately.

A delicious perennial vegetable, more tender than regular kale or collards. Hardy in zones 8-10. Hardy with protection in zone 7. They will take some frost, but won't survive if the ground freezes. Makes a long stalk with purple-green leaves on top. The leaves turn deep purple in winter, and become very sweet. These don't usually flower or make seed, so they remain productive all year. This treasure has been passed from gardener to gardener by cuttings for at least 200 years. Here's a video made by the man who grows our tree collards.

We supply 3 cuttings, ready for you to root at home. They are cut from the plant to order. Each week's orders are collected and cut on Monday morning, so they get through the postal system early in the week. When you receive them, plant them in a pot right away. Instructions are included.
