"Hyper Red Rumpled Waved" Leaf Lettuce
The reddest red for striking salads, sandwiches, garnish, and baby mix. The rumpled and frilled texture means that it holds salad dressing better than flat leaves, and the leaves don't stick together, staying light and mixable. Now a classic, bred some years ago by Frank Morton for good flavor, disease resistance, and resistance to both heat and cold. Rot and downy mildew resistant.
