Native to the Eastern US, this is a magnet for hummingbirds, bees, butterflies, and all kinds of pollinators. Delicious fragrance and flavor make it one of the most appreciated teas. (Known to early colonists as "Oswego Tea." Perennial, but will bloom the first year if you plant early. Adaptable plants grow in full to partial sun, dry to moderate conditions. Given adequate fertility, they can handle a variety of soils--sandy, clay or loam.
