Banatka Heritage Wheat (spring or fall)
A traditional wheat with exceptional flavor and baking quality. Great disease-resistance and vigor. This wheat is the result of Eli Rogosa's tireless efforts to restore heritage grains to their rightful place in agriculture and in our diet. (See her work saving endangered grains here.) Tall plants shade out weeds and are deep-rooted to find nutrients and water. Plant at 10" to 12" spacing to allow the plants to make many tillers (seed stalks) and make maximum yield. 7 g packets contain roughly 100 seeds.
