We expect this in early February. Aconcagua is the tallest mountain in South America, and gave its name to this enormous Argentine pepper. They can approach a foot in length, (10" long and 2 1/2 " wide would be normal.) The plants are big too--up to 3 feet--and bear heavily. You will probably want to stake them, as the clusters of big fruit are quite a weight. Fruity, crunchy, perfect for snacking, salad, grilling, and frying. Surprisingly early--85 days from transplant to kitchen. I find these to be juicier than Italian peppers and better adapted to using raw for salads, dipping, etc. 20 seeds
