This blue annual comes from eastern Asia. Very adaptable and easy to grow in sunny to shady conditions. Bees love it, as do small beneficials that appreciate the shallow nectar cup. Suitable for beds and borders, flower seed mixtures, and the pollinator garden. This is closely related to the Cynoglossum native to California, (often called Hound"s Tongue) with the same true-blue flowers that shine like jewels in the garden, but this species makes more flowers, over a longer period.
