Tagetes lucida, aka dream marigold, sweet-scented marigold. A beautiful plant of many uses and great cultural significance. Grown as an annual in zones 4-7. Perennial in zones 8-11, growing larger and handsomer every year. The glossy leaves and golden flowers are used as a spice like tarragon, and as a tea with complex, mint/licorice flavor.
