One of the easiest summer flowers, and especially perfect for around the house or patio, where it's sweet fragrance and lovely flowers can be enjoyed on summer evenings. The flowers open in late afternoon and remain open until late morning the next day, drawing hummingbirds to their nectar. An old-fashioned favorite that grows quickly in summer and is perennial in zones 8-10, forming tubers like a dahlia. This mix produces trumpet-shaped flowers in red, rose, pink, yellow and white, with different colors sometimes appearing on the same plant, or in stripes and spots. The reds are more visible during the day, While the yellow and white are enchanting at night. Plants can grow up to 3' and have a naturally neat rounded shape, making a great addition to planters, dooryards, garden edges, or a low seasonal hedge. Various uses in folk medicine. Mirabilis jalapa. 50 seeds.
