Flashback Calendula Mix
Every color possible for calendulas, from deep russet to the new pale pinks and ivories. All have a single trait in common--whatever color the petals, the back side of each is deep red. That's the "flashback" part. This mix includes Zeolights and Sunshine Flashback (which we carried int he past) as well as many other colors and variations, some multicolored. Here's how the breeder, Frank Morton, describes it: "Our calendula “Mother of Gene Pools,” named for the flashy red or maroon backs of the petals, which are orange, apricot, peachy, vanilla, or yellow on the facing side-sometimes bicolored or tricolored! At sunset, petals fold up for the night, revealing their flashy backsides. A blooming strip of this helps slow traffic past the farm."
