Early, tasty, reliable, and high-yielding. I've been looking for a green snap bean that produces in summer. Most beans drop their blossoms in July and August, and only resume production when it gets cooler. But Marona gives big yields all summer that hold up well, both on the bush and after picking. The highest yield and most-resistant to Mexican Bean Beetle damage in Care of the Earth Farm’s 2022 August snap bean trial. They highly recommend it for late summer and early fall green bean production, when Provider struggles to survive the heat.
