Sweet and juicy as a green bell; even sweeter at dark chocolate-red maturity, with outstanding flavor. Larger peppers, easier to grow, and more productive than the other purple/brown contenders I've seen. Small, sturdy plants had lush disease-free foliage all season and big sweet 4-lobed peppers with no fuss. Breeder/farmer Doug Jones selected for earliness, yield, and flavor. Living Energy Farm grew the seed for us.
