Pink Princess Cherry Tomato Genepool
A cherry tomato with unique sweet flavor and frosty "jelly bean" pink color. Fruit varies somewhat but most are on the large-cherry side, and early (it is parthenocarpic, meaning it can set fruit even when weather is too cold for pollen production.) The Open Source Seed Initiative exists so that breeders who originate new varieties can protect them from exploitation and patenting by corporations. It means that the breeder has freely given up patent rights in order to keep the variety in the public domain forever.
