Sweet, productive and hardy heirloom kale from England that gives you lots of food. It makes armloads of beautiful big leaves. This is my favorite of the European kales--it is hardier and more pest-resistant than Lacinato, and I think it's more tender as well. Most kales out there tend to be either curly-edged, or cut-leafed, or both. This one has broad flat leaves that are easy to wash and give aphids no place to hide. And it produces them mightily! It is great to see an heirloom brassica that still has such outstanding vigor. Rare heirloom brought from England by the Seed Ambassador Project.
