Purple Cape Cauliflower
Gorgeous color and delicious flavor in a non-hybrid heirloom cauliflower. I have not carried cauliflower in the past because modern annual varieties don't head up well in hot weather. Purple Cape is easy because it works with nature. The plants grow a leafy framework in summer, then after the weather gets cold, they head up in late winter-early spring. Like all cauliflower, it needs excellent fertility and dependable moisture, but it produces a lot of food without fuss in the spring "hunger gap" when high-quality vegetables are scarce in the garden. Hardy in zones 7-10. Packet contains 70 seeds.
